Opportunities

Sunday School The Sunday School meets Sunday mornings in the basement of the church at 10:30 AM. Some time is spent teaching the children to sing. The children sing various times throughout the year for worship services. Their major performance is the annual Christmas program on the 3rd or 4th Sunday in December at 10:00 AM. Here they tell the Christmas story as only children can. It brings back the true meaning of Christmas for you. In addition to singing the children learn all about Jesus in their lessons. We can always use new teachers!
Adult Bible Class    The group meets in the Gempel Room Sunday mornings at 8:30 AM.  Classes are led by Pastor Haugen, with an occasional speaker.
Sermon Seekers This mid-week Bible class meets Tuesdays at 9:30 AM.
Handbell Choir Bell choir practice is on Saturday mornings at 11:00 AM. As the name implies, we ring handbells.  We ring several Sundays during the year as well as on Holidays.
Choir The choir is for people who like to sing and have fun at the same time.  Choir practice is on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM.
Confirmation Classes 7th and 8th Grade classes meet on Monday evenings from 6:30PM - 8:00PM.
Shepherd Program Caring for others is what the shepherd program is all about. Every member has a shepherd who prays for her flock, sends cards and notes, and may make shut-in or hospital visits or phone calls. The idea is to get to know fellow members. The shepherd is there to HELP! The church provides the tools and the shepherd provides the care-giving.
"Lifting high the cross and proclaiming the unchanging message
